Job Summary
Event Volunteers for the Stoke Patrol Team assist in the execution and logistical needs of events that uphold Crystal Mountain's brand and values. This role embodies Crystal Mountain's personality and identity through authentic, confident, inclusive, playful, adventurous, skilled, human, and honest interactions at live guest-facing events.

- Highly detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- Handle guest questions and set expectations professionally
- Mature, dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
- Able to work varied shifts and days of the week
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Participate in the production of One (1) summer event at Crystal Mountain (June - September)
- Participate in the production of events and/or activations at Crystal Mountain minimum of eight (8) days per winter season throughout the 26/27 winter season (November - May)
- All Stoke Patrollers are required to volunteer at the annual Winter Stoke Block Party on 11/7/2026
- Promote Crystal Mountain events and activities throughout the community, including social channels
- Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, tag @crystalmountain, and #crystalmountain on all posts and stories, location tag Crystal Mountain Resort on posts and stories
Performance Criteria
- Respond to guest inquiries in a professional and timely manner and manage guest expectations
- General understanding of resort operation hours, venues, services, and events or where to direct guests for more information for guest services purposes
- Willingness to learn and share feedback and other information with team and management
- Able to uphold company and departmental policy
- Demonstrate support for company mission and values
- Willingness and ability to be part of and contribute to a successful team
- Able to work under stressful conditions without creating tension among fellow employees, vendors, and supervisors
- Able to communicate in a pleasant and efficient manner
- Able to present company policy in a diplomatic way
- Possesses and utilizes good verbal communication skills and phone etiquette
- Willing to accept new and varied responsibilities
Physical Demands And Working Conditions
- May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 50 pounds on occasion
- Able to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis
