2026/2027 Ski Patrol - Volunteer

Position Details

Minimum commitment: 1 weekday evening (6:45pm – 10:30pm), 1 weekend day (8:00am – 4:00pm), and night shift every 5th weekend. Hours and specific commitments may vary at the discretion of the Ski Patrol Director and COO.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide emergency medical care and assistance on the mountain
• Safely transport and evacuate injured guests when necessary
• Maintain a visible, approachable presence to support guest safety
• Operate and maintain basic tools and patrol equipment
• Assist in creating and maintaining a safe ski and ride environment for all guests
• Work closely with team members to deliver consistent, professional care

Qualifications

• Certification as one of the following: Outdoor Emergency Care Technician (OEC); EMT, Paramedic, Medical Doctor, or Registered Nurse (with OEC bridging modules)
• Ability to ski at a strong intermediate level in all weather and snow conditions
• Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects
• Comfortable working outdoors in variable winter conditions
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and guest service
