Stockroom Team Lead-Material Control 2nd shift
About the role
Leidos Defense Systems Electrical Manufacturing is seeking a Material Control/Stockroom Team Lead to support the manufacturing of electrical and mechanical components in Huntsville, AL. This position supports inventory operations including cycle counting, stocking, tracking of components, fulfilling requests, assembling kits, delivering and picking up materials, component serialization, marking, supporting materials audits, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities
- Supports all inventory operations including cycle counting, stocking, tracking of components, fulfilling requests, assembling kits, delivering and picking up materials, component serialization, marking, supporting materials audits, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Works with department leadership to contribute to strategic planning and long-term vision for the stockroom team.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong personal organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED with 3-5 years of prior relevant inventory control experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Valid driver's license and sufficient driving record to perform delivery and pickup activities.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Able to work both independently and in a cohesive team environment.
- Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
- US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) Secret Clearance.
Qualifications
- Deltek CostPoint (3+ Years Experience).
- Electronic components handling requirements.
- ESD Processes & Procedures.
- Electronics kitting requirements.
- Tracking of Serial Lot# and/or Date code.
- Maintain Shelf-Life Tracking Tool for expiration dates and expired material.
Skills
The ideal candidate will have strong personal organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. They should also have experience using Microsoft Windows and Office Suite, and be familiar with inventory control processes and ESD procedures.

Pay Range: $45,500.00 - $82,250.00
