Stockroom Manager I

About the role

Under the direction of the operations manager, manages and directs stockroom operations. Assists in establishing financial goals to maximize sales, profit, SSR, productivity, turns and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs stockroom operations.
• Handles shipping, receiving, stocking, return/write-off/disposal of damaged or defective goods, transfer of goods to other facilities, housekeeping duties, maintaining operational vehicles, and ordering expense supplies.
• Manages financial and operational goals.
• Evaluates and enhances customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Supervises, trains, develops, hires, and schedules associates for current positions and future growth.
• Assists in establishing financial goals to maximize sales, profit, SSR, productivity, turns, and inventory.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two years of supervisory or specialized retail experience within the last five years.
• OR successful completion of Exchange Retail Management Training (RMT) or Retail Management Academy (RMA) training programs.

Skills

• Forklift license (preferred)

Pay

Salary minimum: $45,142.00 per year.

Schedule

• Onsite at JBLE Langley Main Store, VA
• Extended duty hours / varying work schedules
