Stockroom Manager I

About the role

Manages and directs stockroom operations under the direction of the operations manager.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with shipping, receiving, stocking, return/write-off/disposal of damaged/defective goods, transfer of goods to other facilities, housekeeping duties, maintaining operational vehicles and ordering expenses supplies.
• Manages financial and operational goals.
• Evaluates and enhances customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Supervises, trains, develops, hires and schedules associates for current positions and future growth.
• Affords assistance in establishing financial goals to maximize sales, profit, SSR, productivity, turns and inventory.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two years of supervisory or specialized retail experience within the last five years.
• OR successful completion of Exchange Retail Management Training (RMT) or Retail Management Academy (RMA) training programs.

Technical (Preferred/Required Skills/Systems)

• FORKLIFT LICENSE - Preferred
