Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of productivity, efficiency and customer serviceas well as managing the team responsible stocking items on the shelves and ensuring the neat, orderly condition of the store.
- Formulate and enforce picking goals for each area/zone of the warehouse.
- Ensure dock to stock for most lines within 72 hours.
- Work with purchasing to develop and implement procedures for unloading orders from vendors and stocking them on our shelves.
- Ensure trucks/ trailers are efficiently and accurately loaded/ unloaded to support the efficient movement of goods and materials to their destinations to fulfill commitment to our customers and support sales objectives.
- Work with dispatchers and outbound production team to enhance customer service via delivery vehicles.
- Check in and post orders from hubs and vendors.
- Avoid inventory discrepancies by maintaining an accurate count of inventory.
- Assist parts pullers to locate and identify parts.
- Handle damaged deliveries, report damaged merchandise to shippers and vendors.
- Cook off damaged deliveries, report damaged merchandise to shippers and vendors.

- Coordinate with store manager and purchasing on inventory updates and replacements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Oversee operations:
- Maintain a meticulous standard for cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure that safety and compliance practices meet DOT and OSHA standards.
- Administer and follow 5S warehouse principles on a routine basis.
- Manage carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) and local (contract) delivery relationships.
Qualifications
- Must have 2-4 years experience as a stock manager.
- Expertise in supply chain, logistics, and time sensitive distribution required.
- Experience with WMS/ inventory management system, RF technology and conveyor technology.
- Must possess ability to multi-task and adjust to dynamic order flow fluctuations as needed.
- Experience in tracking metrics, including key performance indicators such as inbound/outbound productivity.
- Knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
- Forklift, Hazmat and OSHA Certifications preferred.
- Clean/ valid drivers license preferred.
- Ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand/ walk for up to 10 hours, able to squat, bend and reach, able to climb and descend stairs safely (applies to locations with stairs).
- Ability to work powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker etc).
- Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
