NEOTech in Westborough, MA is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join the Labeling Department and support Stockroom functions.
Responsibilities
- Read work instructions and kitting paperwork to determine labeling requirements per customer specifications.
- Utilize labeling software and quality system database to produce labels for inventory quantity, location, and parts placement.
- Physically label customer products following detailed work instructions.
- Accurately transact and physically move electronic components to and from the Stockroom.
- Maintain precise accounting of inventory within the Stockroom.
- Locate stock and deliver items based on customer requirements.
- Complete component preparation prior to kit release.
- Kit material in accordance with Company and Customer specifications and procedures.
- Adhere to all electro-static discharge (ESD) requirements for components and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Follow moisture sensitive device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture sensitivity levels (MSL).
- Verify correct part numbers in kits and load list programs.
- Enter inventory transactions into the ERP system.
- Load (SMT setup) and unload feeders (SMT teardown) for surface mount machines using provided load lists.
- Use a digital voltage multi-meter (DVM) to read component values and document them on SMT load sheets.
- Operate various hand tools, including pliers, screwdrivers, nut drivers, tape measures, box cutters, and tape guns.
- Work with electronic components that may require visual magnification.
- Utilize a reel counter for counting components on reels for kit picking and inventory returns from the production floor.
- Support the production floor by filling parts requisitions, addressing kit shortages, and fulfilling service order requests.
- Move daily receiving inventory to designated Stockroom locations.
- Ensure all documents (inventory transaction forms, pick lists, load lists, receiving travelers, cycle count forms, etc.) are accurately completed.
- Support daily cycle count activities and participate in physical inventory preparations and accuracy projects.
- Identify and resolve inventory issues, seeking assistance from a Supervisor or Lead when necessary.
- Support and follow all ISO standards related to NEOTech’s Quality Management System, including quality, environment, health, safety, and security.
- Support all corporate and site 6S objectives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to read and interpret kit sheets, load lists, work instructions, inventory transaction documents, and cycle count forms.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Keen attention to detail and high accuracy.
- Must pass IPC-A-610 Module 1.
- Due to ITAR and/or CUI compliance, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test, including screening for illegal drugs and marijuana.
