About the role
Under the direction of and reporting to the Department Leader, the Stock Handler follows procedures and instructions to physically transfer materials between processes or areas, maintaining accurate inventory and traceability records. This position is on 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm CT or 4pm-12:30pm CT). Training for this role will be on 1st shift (6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm) for 2-3 months.
Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Picks material from racks, trays and shelves, and prepares them for assembly, sub-assembly, spare part orders or other subsequent processes.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and update accurate records of stock levels, monitoring for discrepancies and reporting them as necessary. Perform daily inventory counts to maintain cycle counts.
- Receiving Shipments: Unload and inspect incoming stock to ensure all items are accurate and undamaged upon arrival.
- Stock Replenishment: Restock shelves and displays promptly to maintain product availability and ensure the production is well supplied.
- Maintain Inventory Integrity and Traceability: Attach identifying tags or labels to stock or mark information on containers.

- Basic Skills: Proficiency in reading, writing, math and computer skills using inventory management software and other relevant computer applications for tracking stock.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and achieve common goals.
- Customer Service Orientation: Provide assistance and information to customers regarding product availability and location when required.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in handling products per handling code and data to minimize errors in stock handling and recordkeeping.
- Physical Stamina: Capability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and stocking merchandise throughout the shift.
- Inventory Management: Ability to efficiently manage and organize stock to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Problem Solving Abilities: Address and resolve issues related to stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or supply chain interruptions.
- Time Management: Effectively prioritize tasks to maintain workflow and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
Requirements
- This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay
Estimated hourly base pay: $17.31 - $22.60. Plus, overtime and shift premium.
Schedule
2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm CT or 4pm-12:30pm CT). Training for this role will be on 1st shift (6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm) for 2-3 months.
