About the role

The Stock Prep Superintendent leads Stock Prep operations at PaperWorks' Wabash, IN mill. Key responsibilities include overseeing operations, developing and coaching a team, driving continuous improvement, and partnering across departments to solve complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Stock Prep operations with a focus on safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Develop, coach, and support salaried and hourly team members.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment performance.
• Champion continuous improvement, root cause problem solving, and best practices.
• Partner with operations and maintenance teams to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Build a strong culture of learning, engagement, and accountability.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE PAPER MILL EXPERIENCE*

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, paper, pulp, or a related industrial environment.
• Strong operational, maintenance, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lead teams, drive results, and influence change.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent paper mill experience will be considered.
