About the role
The Early Morning Stock Associate is responsible for ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This role requires understanding safety protocols, treating customers and associates with respect, assisting customers, performing cleaning tasks, and following company policies.
Responsibilities
- Understands and practices safety in all activities.
- Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment by being aware of the sales floor and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Treats customers and associates respectfully and professionally.
- Assists customers by being register-trained, helping with merchandise, and answering questions politely and knowledgeably.
- Responds promptly and efficiently to customer service calls and handles issues courteously.
- Performs cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and replenishing restroom supplies.
- Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to the company’s dress code.
- Manages daily assigned sizing and recovery tasks to keep the store neat and well-maintained.
- Expedites new merchandise receipts and merchandises items according to company best practices.
- Understands and follows loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Communicates effectively with customers, associates, and leadership.
- Ensures accountability and execution of all store best practices.
Qualifications and Special Skills Required
- Effective communication with customers, associates, and leadership.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Physical Requirements/ADA
- Ability to use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
