Stock Clerk-Maintenance (DOH/NMBHI #12678)

Salary: $15.45 - $23.18 hourly ($32,136 - $48,204 annually). This position is a Pay Band C1 and will be used for ongoing recruitment.

About the Role

Incumbent is primarily responsible for providing services for receiving, storing, and issuance of merchandise/equipment and other items from the NMBHI stockroom. The role includes delivery of all supplies and furniture on the NMBHI campus and Community Based Services (CBS).

Responsibilities

• Assist another Stock Clerk in the delivery of supplies, receiving, resident packages, medical supplies, oxygen, and local vendor Purchase Order pickups.
• Maintain workflow for the entire Property Control Department.
• Transfer and deliver equipment.
• Conduct monthly inventory.
• Label and tag all property.

Customers

Patients, clients, residents, and staff at the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience with transferring and delivering equipment.
• Experience with monthly inventory.
• Experience with labeling and tagging property.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a valid NM Driver’s License.
• Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate.

Qualifications

No prior experience or training required.

Working Conditions

• Work performed both indoors and outdoors at the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute.
• May require lifting, pushing, pulling, transferring, and/or carrying up to 100 pounds.
• May be exposed to moderate noise levels.
• The campus is 100% tobacco-free and e-cigarette-free (no tobacco or e-cigarette products permitted).
