Stock Clerk 1 - PennDOT Winter Maintenance

Description of Work

This position supports the flow of materials and supplies within a busy storeroom environment. It involves both physical tasks and basic recordkeeping. As a Stock Clerk, you will perform the following duties:

• Stock Handling: Receive, unpack, check, and record incoming goods and place them in the correct storage areas
• Order Fulfillment: Assemble items based on requisition orders, pack shipments, and prepare goods for delivery
• Tool Management: Store, distribute, and track tools and equipment used for daily operations
• Equipment Operation: Use a forklift, hand truck, or other approved equipment to move heavy or oversized materials
• Inventory Support: Take or help take physical counts of stock to maintain accurate records

Qualifications Required

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Graduation from high school; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
