Stock Clerk 1 - PennDOT Winter Maintenance

About the role

As a Stock Clerk 1 with the Department of Transportation, you will play an essential part in keeping supplies and equipment ready for daily operations. This role provides hands-on experience in both physical tasks and basic record keeping. You will support a team that depends on your care and accuracy. This is a strong starting point for building your confidence and expanding your abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and issue materials, tools, supplies, and equipment for daily needs
• Maintain simple stores records that track incoming and outgoing items
• Assist with counting and verifying supplies during inventory checks
• Perform routine paperwork needed to record warehouse activities
• Complete physical tasks that support warehouse organization and workflow

Work Schedule

Seasonal full‑time employment. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday‑Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch. Schedule subject to change due to weather and seasonal requirements. Telework is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.
