Stock Associate

About the role

Warehouse Associates play a critical role in supporting our distribution operations by ensuring inventory is received, stocked, and replenished accurately and efficiently to meet our customers' needs. We offer a stable career with growth opportunities in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and stock items in the proper location on shelves
• Check off merchandise as received and correct mistakes found on inventory count sheets
• Assist in pulling parts during busy times
• Maintain a neat, orderly condition of the warehouse, including cleaning inside and outside
• Work with the stock manager to address any problems with orders
• Resolve issues with warehouse stocking and organization
• Perform miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned
• Maintain and promote workplace safety, including familiarity with warehouse safety measures
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets as needed

Requirements

• Accurately follow written and verbal directions
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Effective time management and ability to work well under pressure
• Collaborate effectively with staff members and supervisors
• Open availability, flexibility to work various shifts, and overtime as needed
• 1-2 years of stocking experience preferred
