Stock Associate

About the role

Casual Stock Associates at Raymour & Flanigan are scheduled between 10-20 hours weekly.

What you'll do

• Offload and load trailers of furniture to be assembled, arranged, and displayed on the showroom floor.
• Aid customers by loading their purchases into their vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and organized backroom and sales floor to ensure every customer has the ideal shopping experience.

• Commitment to Raymour & Flanigan's safety practices, promoting awareness, and maintaining a neat and safe work environment.
• Ability to exhibit professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well independently and with a team.
• The flexibility to work a retail schedule which includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes up to and in excess of 200 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience with retail operations and merchandising is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of inventory management and replenishment processes.
• Basic understanding of order fulfillment and stock control.
• Good organizational and attention to detail skills.

Skills

• Strong physical stamina and ability to handle heavy items.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with POS systems is a plus.
