About the role
The Stewards VISTA: AMP Berea - Creative Community Initiative - AmeriCorps Conservation Legacy Program: Stewards Individual Placements, East Site is designed to advance community and economic development in Berea, Kentucky through arts, culture, and public space initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop a communications strategy, messaging frameworks, and content toolkits.
- Create a story archive documenting impact.
- Design outreach systems that help partner communities increase visibility with funders & civic audiences.
- Compile live music economic impact data from national sources and package it into accessible toolkits.
- Do grant research & regional funding pipeline development.
Qualifications
- United States citizen, US national, or lawful permanent resident alien.
- College graduate.
Benefits
- Segal AmeriCorps Education Award of $7,395.00 or choice of cash stipend of ~$1,800.00.
- Living Allowance of $68.39 per day, disbursed every 2 weeks.

Evaluation and Reporting
Performance will be evaluated based on completing the required year of service, satisfactory completion of assignments, and meeting other performance criteria clearly communicated at the start of the term of service. Reporting requirements include bi-weekly timesheets, accomplishment tracking, and quarterly reporting.
