Stewarding Teamleader
About the role
As the Team Leader – Stewarding, you will assist with the smooth and efficient running of the department through supervision. You will assist and guide with cleaning and storage of operating equipment. You will work in a team to support the Chef in supervising and managing the day-to-day operations.
- Aid the Stewards in daily operations
- Delegate responsibilities and duties to the Stewarding team members and monitor their tasks
- Work with the team to maximize employee morale and productivity
- Conduct fortnightly payroll processing with support from Human Resources and Payroll
- Conduct monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies
Requirements
A successful candidate will have:
- Current work experience in a similar fast-paced environment, highly regarded
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills, along with good communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and the desire to produce high quality operational and administrative outcomes
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
