About the role

Responsibilities

• Promptly and carefully sort soiled ware to be processed through the dish or pot machine.
• Quickly wash all ware and return it to storage areas as directed.
• Operate the dish machine according to hotel standards, keeping it clean and filled with water.
• Use a burnishing machine to achieve a proper finish on silverware.
• De-tarnish and polish silverware to ensure it has a proper appearance.
• Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans promptly and thoroughly.
• Comply with attendance policies and be available to work regularly.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of service ware and its maintenance to enhance guest experiences.
• Physical strength and stamina necessary due to the high activity level required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
