Steward (Harrah's Philadelphia)

Responsibilities

• Prepares tableware for washing, including scraping plates and pre-soaking silverware.
• Sets up dishwashing machine by draining, filling tanks, and adjusting temperatures and detergents.
• Cleans dishes, stacks, and stores china in designated areas.
• Maintains dishwashing equipment and working areas by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing.
• Collects and washes soiled pots, restacks them, and maintains cleanliness of cooking equipment.
• Performs general cleaning tasks such as mopping and sweeping floors, sanitizing walls and ceiling tiles.
• Projects an upbeat, positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and enthusiastic energy throughout interactions.

Qualifications

• Able to work in environments with smoke and to sit and stand for long periods.
• Able to submerge hands in both warm and cold water for extended durations during cleaning tasks.
• Able to handle and move carts weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Stable work history, preferably in the casino or hospitality industry.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules and adapt to short notice changes.
