Steward

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, and glassware by hand or using dishwashing equipment.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other kitchen surfaces.
• Properly dispose of trash and garbage; clean and maintain garbage cans.
• Sort and process bottles and other recyclables.
• Polish silverware and utensils as needed.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Auxiliary with banquet table setup when required.
• Wash and peel vegetables or assist with basic food prep as needed.
• Store and rotate stock in designated areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Strengths for Success

• Previous experience in stewarding, kitchen support, or hospitality preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning procedures a plus.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, high-volume environment desirable.
