About the role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a beautiful, natural setting at El Capitan Canyon Resort. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. This position offers the opportunity to work in a peaceful, rustic environment while contributing to the success of a luxury glamping resort or campground.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a hygienic work environment.
• Support the kitchen team during peak times to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• No formal education required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (AM/PM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
• Interest in working in a natural, outdoor setting.
