STEWARD

Responsibilities

• Cooking food as directed by the Steward Supervisor and Executive Steward.
• Cleaning and sanitizing workstations and communicating issues to supervisors or kitchen management.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all floors, walls, dishes, pots, etc.
• Maintaining proper inventory of supplies and ensuring the cleanliness of all equipment.
• Maintaining proper use of protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, and chemicals.
• Maintaining equipment to ensure it functions properly.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards as set by Cactus Petes Casino and the Health Department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 17 years of age or older.

Qualifications

Physical ability to perform continuous physical activity throughout the shift, including working in confined spaces and awkward positions.

Ability to understand and follow product labeling instructions to safely apply cleaning products.
