About the role

As a Sterilization Technician at Express Employment Professionals, you will be responsible for ensuring that medical equipment and supplies are properly sterilized to prevent the spread of infections.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment according to manufacturer’s guidelines and hospital policies.
• Follow strict aseptic techniques to ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and sterilized.
• Document all sterilization procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their sterilization needs and preferences.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a sterile processing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
