Responsibilities

• Execute various sterilization methods such as Autoclave, GI, and soak sterilization
• Clean and sterilize flexible scopes
• Efficiently verify biological testing outcomes
• Maintain inventory and monitor it
• Use software and computers provided
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement
• Participate in meetings and committees
• Maintain certifications
• Train new team members
• Perform effectively in emergencies
• Apply knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control policies and procedures
• Excel in communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Central Sterilization Processing experience preferred; decontamination, prepare and package, sterilization, sterile storage, etc.
• IHACSMM certification preferred
• BLS certification is required; can be obtained upon hire
