Sterile Processing Technician - SPT

About the Role

Prepare, deliver, and process surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment under supervision. Operate and troubleshoot sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners. Manage multiple computer applications for sterilization tracking.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, and maintain inventory of surgical tools and supplies
• Operate sterilization equipment and ensure proper functionality
• Track sterilization processes using computer applications

Requirements

• HSPA Certification as a Central Processing Technician (CRCST) within 18 months of hire
• At least two years of experience in sterilization or related roles, or vocational certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively, adapt to unpredictable situations, and lift 25+ pounds

Schedule

Full-time, nonexempt role with evening rotations, weekends, and holidays. Occasional travel required.
