Responsibilities

• Inspects, prepares, and packages instrumentation and equipment for sterilization
• Performs thorough decontamination to meet quality standards
• Stocks and documents case carts to ensure all required items are available for processing or other departmental needs
• Operates steam and ethylene oxide sterilizers, selecting the appropriate sterilization method and completing all required documentation in accordance with SOPs
• Actively participates in departmental continuous improvement initiatives
