About the role

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by ensuring every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed. Your focus on safety and attention to detail helps protect patients and empowers a team committed to the care and improvement of human life—one surgery at a time.

Responsibilities

Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards.
Monitor sterilization cycles, document results, and resolve issues promptly to deliver safe, high-quality care.
Prepare and organize instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs.
Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized.
Work closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries.
Respond appropriately and effectively to requests for emergency supplies.

Requirements

Minimum one year of sterile processing experience preferred.
Knowledge of hospital equipment, supplies, surgical instrumentation, and medical terminology also preferred.
