About the role

The Instrumentation Technician performs duties related to the sterilization and distribution of medical and surgical supplies, instruments, and processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to the sterilization and distribution of medical and surgical supplies, instruments, and processing equipment.
• Inventory management; stocking and packaging of medical supplies, and linen/uniform supplies.
• Maintain sterilization and decontamination of equipment, instrument sets, and sterile supplies.

Requirements

• Vocational / Technical school preferred
• Surgical Technologist Certification And/or Previous Experience Preferred
• Knowledge of the functions of Steam, Steris, and Sterrad sterilization preferred
