About the role
As our Sterile Processing Tech at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will be a vital link in patient care, ensuring the highest quality, sterile instrumentation is always available to medical teams. Every day, you will meticulously process and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, assembling trays, conducting quality checks, and maintaining inventory. You'll provide excellent service to patients, physicians, and staff, ensuring tools are safe and ready for procedures.

Responsibilities
- Prepares and delivers case carts.
- Utilizes aseptic technique when handling and distributing sterile instruments and supplies.
- Decontaminates surgical instruments, power equipment, flexible endoscopes, and other medical devices.
- Assembles, packages, and labels surgical instrumentation for various methods of sterilization.
- Answers telephone, fills orders, issues, and stocks supplies.
- Utilizes various methods of high/low temperature sterilization and disinfection processes.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Preferred completion of a surgical instrument technician program or two (2) years of surgical instrument experience.

Pay
