About the Role
Mad Science is looking for STEM Workshop Instructors to conduct engaging and interactive classroom instruction on various scientific topics.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate a one-hour in-classroom science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum (high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands-on class).
- Pick up, drop off, and maintain equipment.
Requirements
- Experience teaching children in a classroom or camp environment.
- Friendly, flexible, dynamic, and passionate about supporting children’s learning.
- Available Monday–Friday between 8:30 AM–1:30 PM.
- Reliable transportation (not public or ride-share).
- Must pass fingerprint-based criminal background check and TB test.
- Some college coursework completed.
- Fun and outgoing personality.

Pay
$40 per workshop, with 2–3 workshops daily.
Schedule
Part-time, year-round, following the school calendar.
