STEM Teacher

About the role

The successful applicant will teach STEM subjects at Buckeye Trail Elementary – Middle School.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement STEM curriculum aligned with state standards.
• Instruct students on various STEM topics including but not limited to physics, biology, chemistry, and engineering.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary lessons and activities.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in STEM education or a related field.
• At least three years of teaching experience in middle school STEM education.
• Valid teaching certification in STEM from the state of Ohio.
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and staff.
• Passion for STEM education and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Skills

• Effective classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Knowledge of current STEM pedagogical practices.

Pay

The pay range is per Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Schedule

The anticipated starting date is 2026-2027 school year.
