About the role

As a Code Sensei, you will teach and mentor kids in STEM, Coding, and robotics. You will inspire and engage students on various STEM and coding topics.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or teaching in a camp, classroom, or informal educational setting
• Strong knowledge of STEM concepts and principles, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology; or able to quickly pick up basic concepts
• Fun to work with and enjoy working in fast-paced environments where requirements can change frequently
• Able to maintain order and discipline within a group setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate campers of varying ages, learning styles, personalities, and backgrounds
• CPR and First Aid knowledge or certification (preferred but not required)
• Must pass a background check

Pay

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule

Positions available in Ft. Walton Beach, Pensacola and Gulf Breeze. Camps Topics To Include, But Not Limited To Minecraft: Modding, coding, MCreator and/or Redstone Roblox and/or Roblox Studio Game Design in Scratch and/or Microsoft MakeCode Arcade-Block-based coding and Java LEGO Robotics YouTube-video editing/Canva Digital Art/AI Image Prompting Knowledge, Qualifications And Requirements
