STEM instructor and Tutor

About the role

We are seeking passionate, high-energy, and dynamic individuals to join our team as a Code Sensei teaching and mentoring kids in STEM, Coding, and robotics. As a Code Sensei you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students on a variety of STEM and coding topics. Positions available in Ft. Walton Beach, Pensacola and Gulf Breeze.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor kids in STEM and coding topics.
• Inspire and engage students on a variety of STEM and coding topics.
• Build and lead kids' own video games.
• Work in a fast-paced environment where requirements can change frequently.
• Maintain order and discipline within a group setting.
• Engage and motivate campers of varying ages, learning styles, personalities, and backgrounds.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or teaching in a camp, classroom, or informal educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of STEM concepts and principles, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology; or able to quickly pick up basic concepts.
• Fun to work with and enjoy working in fast-paced environments.
• Patience and experience with working with learning differences is a plus.
