STEM Facilitators

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and energetic STEM Facilitator to engage students in hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in Loudoun and Fairfax locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed STEM lessons and activities to students.
• Facilitate engaging hands-on experiments, coding exercises, robotics, and engineering challenges.
• Create a safe, engaging, collaborative, and interactive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support different learning styles.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and organizations to enhance STEM outreach.
• Maintain STEM-related materials and equipment.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in STEM education.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM-related fields (Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, or Education with a STEM focus).
• Prior teaching, facilitation, or youth program experience preferred (formal or informal education settings).
• Experience with hands-on STEM tools such as robotics kits, coding platforms (e.g., Scratch, Python), 3D printing, or engineering kits is a plus.
