STEM, Arts, or Life Skills Activity Facilitator
Description
Help girls discover what they’re capable of by sharing a skill, hobby, career path, or area of expertise. As a Skill-Building Activity Facilitator, you bring an engaging activity directly to a Girl Scout troop or group and help girls try something new.
Facilitators might lead a STEM activity, teach a leadership lesson, guide an outdoor skill, share a life skill like budgeting or meal prep, introduce entrepreneurship concepts, or create a wellness or mental health activity focused on confidence, coping skills, or self-care. Activities can be simple, interactive, and age-appropriate—we’re looking for volunteers who can spark curiosity and encourage girls to participate.
This is a great role for professionals, hobbyists, educators, college students, retirees, and community members who want to share what they know in a way that feels fun and empowering.

About GSHNC
Girl Scouts builds courage, confidence, and character in girls through hands-on experiences, supportive mentors, and opportunities to try new things. We’re looking for caring adults and community partners who want to help girls grow, learn, and lead—whether that means supporting a troop meeting, hosting a field trip, teaching a skill, helping at an event, or opening doors in the community. No previous Girl Scout experience is required—just a willingness to show up, encourage girls, and make a difference.
