About the role

Activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions, and systems. Includes tasks related to the technical improvement of existing products and components. Responsible for the quality of their work. Subject to direct supervision of operations, prescribed work instructions, and system verification. Performs tasks within a well-defined operational framework, typically following a detailed sequence of standard operational tasks to achieve the expected final result.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, or evaluate assigned projects using reliable engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements. This includes mechanical and/or electrical engineering for all products.
  • Develop conceptual knowledge of the professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in a broad area.
  • Apply business management knowledge acquired through education or previous experience. Understand how the work of their own team contributes to their field.
  • Resolve problems using established procedures. Consult supervisors or more experienced team members for issues outside defined instructions/parameters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to solve problems.
  • For client-facing roles, develop strong client relationships and serve as the interface between the client and GE Vernova. Exchange technical information, ask questions, and verify understanding.

Requirements

  • For roles outside the United States: Basic experience with the function and digital audio workstations. Knowledge equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • For roles in the United States: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of experience in the function).

Pay

For candidates applying to a U.S.-based position, the pay range is between $72,000.00 and $108,000.00. The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility includes a discretionary annual bonus.
