Position Summary

To operate and maintain high pressure steam boilers and ancillary equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain high pressure steam boilers and ancillary equipment.
  • Interact and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Show good organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Pay attention to details and adapt to changing tasks efficiently.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of applicable experience preferred.
  • Valid Blue Seal Operating Engineer License certified by the State of New Jersey.
  • Good interaction and communication skills, including verbal and written.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain an effective functioning team.
  • Ability to pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervisor.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
