Stationary Engineer (Pitman Nights) $1,500 Sign on Bonus
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive infrastructure support, including maintenance of boilers, chillers, air compressors, and air handlers, as well as troubleshooting factory leaks and installing new equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain boilers and chillers for the entire plant
- Troubleshoot and balance air compressors
- Serve as first responder for factory leaks
- Install and support new equipment
- Perform soldering and brazing tasks
- Provide secondary support for production needs
- Demonstrate strong electrical skills, including 3-phase 480-volt systems
- Use refrigeration gauges and maintain certification to handle refrigerants
- Hold an Illinois license to operate boilers
- Thread and install water pipes
- Maintain air handlers, with familiarity in Trane systems
Requirements
- Illinois license to operate boilers
- Universal refrigeration card and certification to handle refrigerants
- Proficiency in soldering, brazing, and threading/installing water pipes
- Strong electrical skills, including experience with 3-phase 480-volt systems
- Experience with Trane systems and air handler maintenance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field (e.g., science, chemistry, safety, or related disciplines) is preferred. Alternatively, some college coursework in a science or engineering discipline with 3+ years of technical experience in safety management, certified safety training, or site facilities engineering may substitute.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is USD 41.40 - USD 56.92 per hour (applicable to Illinois). The total compensation package includes variable pay, medical and dental benefits, 401k participation, and paid time off.
