About the role
The Stationary Engineer position is available in Philadelphia. Two positions are currently open.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventive, corrective and general maintenance and repairs
- Takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations or system breakdowns
- Does routine and preventive maintenance
- Maintains and repairs heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Monitors, tunes and troubleshoots the consumption of HVAC equipment
- Works under minimal supervision
- Occasionally supervises work direction or instruction of other employees
Requirements
- High school/GED graduate
- Current Class A Engineer’s license
- CFC Universal Certificate
- 3 years’ experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- 3 years’ experience with fire alarm system panel controls
- 3 years’ experience with building automation system (BAS) controls and programming
- 2 years of boiler and chiller room operations
- Knowledge of High Pressure Steam Operations and Heat Transfer
