About the role
Operate and perform regular preventative maintenance on all plant machinery and accessories. Troubleshoot, test, and conduct rounds to take required readings on all plant equipment and systems. Keep the Chief Engineer and Lead Engineer informed of any plant changes. Work with equipment or systems to identify and correct problems. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations and AMV plant procedures. Provide on-the-job training as necessary or instructed. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED
- 5 years of experience in Plant Operations or Stationary Engineering preferred
- Valid state driver’s license
- 2nd Grade Maryland Engineers License (highly preferred)
- A/B underground storage tank operator certification (must be provided within 90 days)
Pay
$33.75 - $39.40 per hour
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours weekly (4 days a week, 10-hour shifts)
