About the Role

SkyWest Airlines is seeking dedicated professionals to join our team, offering opportunities for career growth and development in the regional airline industry. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong working relationships and maintain excellent communication with internal departments, stations, partner airlines, vendors, and associated agencies.
  • Lead station-wide coordination with Dispatch, Maintenance, Crew Support, Customer Service, and Ramp Operations.
  • Proactively network with Partner Airline Operations to plan and execute strategies for aircraft parking, repositioning, irregular operations, and service recovery.
  • Serve as a liaison between Dispatch, major partner control centers, airport towers, and upline/downline stations regarding air traffic control and flight information.
  • Facilitate on-time departures and arbitrate delay code challenges using root cause analysis.
  • Monitor radar systems, track lightning strikes and high winds, and maintain the daily Flow Sheet.
  • Conduct weight and balance procedures for Delta, United, and Alaska Airlines.
  • Complete Delta FICONS hourly and manage fuel slips for each flight.
  • Run baggage scans, verify search paperwork and seal logs, and challenge baggage files as needed.
  • Maintain a de-icing log and oversee radio/scanner checkouts.
  • Plan gate assignments for inbound and outbound flights.
  • Communicate positively with employees and flight crews, and attend required briefings and meetings.
  • Provide direction and guidance to station agents and collaborate with managers on daily operational strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with SkyWest operating standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
  • Represent SkyWest Airlines professionally.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Comfortable working under pressure in time-critical situations.
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and keyboarding (a minimum of 30 WPM).
  • Willing to train the right candidate.
  • Basic knowledge or ability to learn partner systems (Unimatic, SHARES, Volare’, Aero/Jet, Pipeline, DeltaTerm, etc.).
  • Understanding of SkyWest company and station policies and performance expectations.
  • Maintain proprietary operational information with discretion.

Qualifications

While we are willing to train the right candidate, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Basic knowledge of partner systems (Unimatic, SHARES, Volare’, Aero/Jet, Pipeline, DeltaTerm, etc.).
  • Understanding of SkyWest company and station policies and performance expectations.

Physical And Other Requirements

  • This position may require travel outside the station for training.
  • This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.
  • Part-time and full-time positions may be available.

Pay

$14.50 per hour
