Job Summary
The State Pre-K Lead Teacher position at Tutor Time Learning Centers involves creating, assessing, and instructing based on individual child needs and program requirements. This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, classroom leadership experience, and meeting state and center requirements.
About the Role
Lead Pre-K Teachers at Tutor Time Learning Centers are expected to develop engaging learning experiences, foster the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, manage classrooms effectively, and communicate with families to support both child and center success.
Responsibilities
- Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
- Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and be an expert on licensing guidelines, company standards, and Pre-K program requirements.
- Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote child achievement and support center success.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- The ability to meet state requirements for education and center requirements.
- The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- At least 18 years old.
- Energetic and dependable.
