State Pre-K Lead Teacher

Job Summary

The State Pre-K Lead Teacher position at La Petite Academy involves creating, assessing, and instructing based on individual child needs and program requirements. This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, classroom leadership experience, and meeting state and center requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and be an expert on licensing guidelines, company standards, and Pre-K program requirements.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote child achievement and support center success.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies, or a related field.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and La Petite Academy’s childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
