Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the ability to explain functions of partner agencies, including our own, but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities listed below. It would be helpful but not a requirement for the position to have knowledge/experience in one or more of the following areas: daycare facilities; educational food program reviews; lunch programs; video lottery; fire and life safety; safe food handling practices (ServSafe); or commercial weighing and measuring devices.

Responsibilities
Identify violations of regulations to ensure compliance with State and Federal Rules.
Complete required reports; ensure businesses and consumers are receiving fair treatment and protect the public from health and safety hazards.
Discuss and explain violations with business managers.
Work independently; handle special requests; coordinate schedules for area; determine workload priorities; work with a variety of personalities; and handle challenging situations.
