Job Responsibilities

  • Serving subpoenas and court summons
  • Locating witnesses who have moved and/or are avoiding participating in the felony criminal court system
  • Updating the Subpoena Program with the return of service
  • Completing monthly Vehicle Inspection Reports
  • Completing Daily Activity Reports
  • Working closely with the Unit Paralegals to obtain better contact information
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • One (1) year of law enforcement investigation or related work experience
  • A valid Florida Driver License, possessing a very good driving record and meeting the requirements of the State Attorney’s Office Driving Policy
  • Knowledge of the geographical layout of Miami-Dade County

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Familiarity with police communications

Starting Annual Salary

$35,990.88
