Stat Crew (Part-Time)

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Report to all home games 2.5 hours prior to tip off
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of the gameday credential office and check in media members admitted by the Basketball Communications staff
• Track and record player and team stats
• Other duties as assigned by the Basketball Communications staff or Statistics Crew

Qualification Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of basketball game operations, officiating and other statistical aspects of NBA/G-League/WNBA basketball
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and occasional holidays during Boom/Pacers/Fever home schedule

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, move heavy objects, use a computer, use a 10-key calculator, use a telephone, speak, hear, and write
• While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the office work environment is usually moderate and the noise level in Gainbridge Fieldhouse / game environment is usually loud
• The stress level may become high during certain times of the year
