Job Responsibilities
- Perform Mechanical and HVAC (refrigerant) equipment startups
- Oversee and/or perform refrigeration installations and evacuations in compliance with industry standards
- Troubleshoot Mechanical and HVAC equipment/system issues to ensure proper operation
- Repair and/or replace Mechanical and HVAC equipment
- Physically resolve warranty claims
- Use the provided tools, technology, and vehicle to efficiently complete tasks safely
- Maintain accurate and concise documentation of work performed and submitted in a timely manner
- Complete and submit timesheets and expense reports
- Provide onsite support to project teams and clients
- Comprehend and comply with equipment Installation, Operation, and Maintenance (IOM) manuals
- Review and comprehend equipment Submittals
- Perform Pre-startup activities for EAS and/or 3rd party vendor equipment Startups
- Understand and follow EAS Mechanical QA/QC standards
- Understand and inspect electrical installations per the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Install and inspect all aspects of Control systems
- Read and comprehend Mechanical, Electrical and Control installation drawings as well as flow diagrams (P&IDs)
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on Mechanical and HVAC equipment
- Inspect, adjust/align, and/or replace fan belts on motors
Education
- High School or Trade Graduate or GED
- Holds an EPA Universal Refrigerant Card/Certification
- Minimum of five years hands-on experience in this industry or a related field is required
- Commercial experience is desirable

- Maintain a current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
- Operate arial lifts on project jobsites
- Accept every challenge to meet project specifications
- Maintain a flexible working schedule, including potential weekend and/or emergency service calls
- Always keep a clean and professional appearance including vehicle and tools
