About the role

Kinstead helps experienced Nurse Practitioners across Massachusetts start their own independent practices, providing support for the business and operational work so you can focus on patient care. You own your practice, choose the patients you serve, and set your own schedule. You can begin part‑time while keeping your current job and grow at your own pace.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage your own independent NP practice
• Provide clinical care to patients you choose to serve
• Oversee patient intake, scheduling, and follow‑up
• Handle billing, coding, and revenue cycle (with Kinstead’s support)
• Maintain compliance, licensing, and legal requirements
• Develop and implement marketing and patient‑panel growth strategies

Requirements

• Experienced FNP, PMHNP, or other Nurse Practitioner
• Active Massachusetts NP license meeting state independent‑practice requirements
• Several years of direct patient‑care experience
• Strong ties to the community you wish to serve
• Interest in owning your practice and having greater control over how you care for patients and structure your work
