About the role

The Stark County Community Action Agency (SCCAA) is seeking individuals who are passionate about promoting economic self-sufficiency among low-income families and individuals in Stark County. We offer a range of employment opportunities designed to support our mission.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of programs aimed at enhancing the economic stability of our clients.
  • Provide direct service to clients, including but not limited to, case management, outreach, and assistance with accessing resources.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of client records and documentation.
  • Engage in community outreach activities to raise awareness about available services.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with low-income populations is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of local community resources and services.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Passion for social justice and community empowerment.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay

Schedule
