About the role

This position contributes to the success of Cosentino’s and Starbucks by delivering the Starbucks Experience to customers.

Responsibilities

• Implement Cosentino’s Customer Service Standards
• Deliver legendary customer service at all times

• Manage multiple situations effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Keep a calm exterior during high volume or unusual events
• Prepare and price products efficiently and accurately for sale
• Adequately manage and adhere to health regulations, sanitation guidelines, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and department for customers and coworkers
• Be knowledgeable about department items to answer customer questions accurately and courteously
• Meet or exceed productivity standards to achieve desired team and individual results
• Operate, clean, and maintain equipment safely and competently
• Monitor product dates according to rotation procedures

• Perform basic math and reading skills required for the position
• Suggest additional products and offer samples to customers

• Support the company by completing additional tasks, assisting other stores or departments, and gaining new skills
• Perform physical tasks such as reaching overhead, twisting at the waist, lifting up to 32 lbs, standing and walking for long periods, bending, squatting, working in cold conditions, and climbing ladders up to 5ft

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. A food handling permit must be obtained within 14 days of employment.

Qualifications

Completion of ongoing training and development as outlined on the Cosentino Learning Plan is required.
